I'm Cecilia Poullain. I qualified as a lawyer in Australia, the UK and France, and spent years as a finance lawyer in prestigious firms before moving on to structure investment funds for an international asset manager.
I left because I kept watching brilliant women fall short of what they were capable of. Not for lack of talent. For lack of confidence, and because nobody had ever explained the unspoken rules.
I now coach women lawyers into partnership, one to one and through the Business Development Accelerator programme, and I speak on this at firms including Hogan Lovells, DLA Piper, Citibank and Natixis.
